The boys in Capybara are super psyched to announce their very first remix contest!  Submit your own remix of “The Wimp” to win great prizes from The Record Machine / Mushpot Records / and Team Clermont.  The stakes are high, people.  The world’s largest gummy bear hangs in the balance, and it could be YOURS.

The deadline for this contest is December 1st. To submit, please send your song in mp3 format to remix@therecordmachine.net.  To grab the original, vocal, and instrumental files, hop on over to The Record Machine’s website here.

We were very excited here at Camp Capybara to learn that “The Wimp” was recently featured on a mix tape put out by The World’s Best Ever, alongside tracks from stellar artists like Jens Lekman, Karen O, and Arcade Fire.  The mix was curated by We Love You So, a collaboration between Spike Jonze, Dallas Clayton, Graham Kolbeins, Molly Young, and Matt Rubin.

We couldn’t be more thrilled!
